I am sad to report that my Mum passed away early on Thursday morning 21st January 2010 after a short Illness.
Jessie started archery in 1990 at the age of 70 and loved every minute of it.
Twice Jessie was asked to shoot for the London Borough of Redbridge in the London-wide 50+ Sporting Challenge and was so proud to win a medal each time. When she could no longer shoot 60 or 50 yards she was happy to just be socialising at tournaments and was delighted when asked to be Lady Paramount.
I would like to thank everyone who helped to add to Mum’s delight in the sport.
Thank You.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackMy Nan loved archery and her medals had pride of place at her house in Hainult. She made lots of friends through archery and I am so pleased that she got such enjoyment out of the sport. Thank you to everyone who was a part of that.
Thanks & Regards
